When we think of Jodie Foster, we often just look back at her remarkable acting and directing career, but what we sometimes forget is how many characters she has conveyed and how many starkly different styles she’s flaunted in her myriad of film appearances. Most recently, Foster radiated beauty and class at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards. She looked absolutely stunning in a custom-made deep blue Giorgio Armani gown and sported a simple yet sleek bob hairstyle, which contributed to an overall chic look, without appearing age-inappropriate. The dazzling and flowy dress fit her figure perfectly, and the dress’s straps added a touch of structure to the overall look.
One of the highlights of the show was Foster’s acceptance speech after winning the Cecil B. DeMille award. Foster touched the hearts of many as she publicly came out and discussed her “modern family.”
This post is meant to acclaim her courage in touching key issues of privacy and sexuality while also looking amazing and kicking off the award show with flair and elegance. However, we can only wonder if it is possible for celebrities to have the privacy that Foster calls for.
